Jeff interned at Maloney + Novotny in 2009 and now is a Senior Manager with experience in providing audit, review, compilation and tax services, as well as accounting consulting assistance. Prior to joining Maloney + Novotny full time, Jeff worked at an international CPA firm where he worked on a coal company specializing in surface mining where he assisted in the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 shortly after the coal company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange, along with auditing areas regarding mineral properties, revenues and asset retirement obligation.
Jeff works on a variety of clients including commercial & industrial, oil & gas, benefit plans, not- for-profit high schools, healthcare and not-for-profit audits. This includes audit work for a public oil and gas company specializing in the extraction of oil and gas. Additionally, he works with several different commercial and industrial clients focusing mainly on rivets, adhesives, heat treating, and general manufacturing. He also works on several healthcare clients and other not-for-profit organizations that involve performing audits under Yellow Book standards as well as some of them requiring a Single Audit.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from Bowling Green State University in 2008 and a Masters of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University in 2010, and passed the CPA exam in 2011. Jeff belongs to the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
