Greg joined Maloney + Novotny in 2016 after spending 13 years with a local CPA firm in Erie, Pennsylvania. A 2003 graduate of Gannon University, Greg became a CPA in 2008.
Greg Ruban’s experience includes audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed upon procedure engagements. He has worked in every aspect of the engagement, from staff, to partner, to independent quality control reviewer. He has worked with nonprofit organizations, Union/Trade Organizations, private companies (retail, construction, manufacturing, industry, consulting), employee benefit plans, governments, and HUD entities. He has experience in performing single audits and audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book).
Greg has been involved with the firm’s internal inspection and has worked on several independent peer reviews of other accounting firms.
Greg also has experience with tax and consulting including individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofits, trusts, estates, and employee benefit plans. Greg has assisted small businesses with bookkeeping and special assistance with their accounting needs including set-up of a new company, fixing how an existing business was originally set-up, and assisting with recording transactions and generating reports.
Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member and current treasurer of the Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club.
