Maloney + Novotny Surpasses United Way Campaign Goal
CLEVELAND, OH [March 23, 2009] – Local accounting firm Maloney + Novotny LLC (M+N) recently participated in United Way of Greater Cleveland’s 2009 campaign, surpassing their fundraising goal by nearly 40%. Funds were raised through donations, payroll deduction pledges, raffles and a number of special events including “Jeans Days.” M+N solicited all of their sites -- Cleveland, Canton and Elyria -- and allowed United Way to speak to their staff about giving back to the community. United Way of Greater Cleveland is a leader in addressing health and human service needs through convening partnerships, funding programs and generating resources to support our community’s priorities.
"I'm pleased with the level of support for our first official employee giving campaign," said Matthew J. Maloney, Managing Shareholder at Maloney + Novotny LLC. "Giving back to the community is something that our firm stands behind," added Maloney.
