Maloney + Novotny Adds Staff, Grows to more than 100
CLEVELAND, OH [January 20, 2009] – This month, locally owned and managed accounting firm Maloney + Novotny added 10 employees, exceeding a total of 100 full-time staff.
The firm, which began in 1932, changed its name, in October 2007 to Maloney + Novotny LLC. It is one of Ohio's largest regional, full-service CPA and business consulting firms. In the past year the firm has grown from 60 staff to 110. "We've enjoyed a busy and rewarding first year as Maloney + Novotny," explains Matt Maloney, Managing Shareholder at Maloney + Novotny. "We are very pleased and encouraged by our continued growth, and our ability to attract and hire very talented people."
Headquartered in Cleveland, Maloney + Novotny in June 2008 outgrow its offices at the Penton Media Building and leased the 7th floor at the Eaton Center Building. "By staying in downtown, Maloney + Novotny once again has shown its commitment to the city of Cleveland, and our continued growth is a reflection that Northeast Ohio still offers much opportunities," Maloney stated. The firm also outgrew its Canton office, and in November moved to larger offices in the Belden Village area. Its third office is located in Elyria. Maloney + Novotny has 16 Shareholders, and a staff of over 70 professionals. Maloney + Novotny services over 2000 clients from their three offices. "It is our hope and intent to continue to grow by continuing to attract and retain very talented people who provide outstanding service to our clients," says Maloney.
