Allen Waddle CPA
Allen joined Maloney + Novotny LLC in 1993. He is an audit partner and has concentrations in commercial and industrial, not-for-profit, and oil and gas industries. Prior to joining Maloney + Novotny, Allen worked for Coopers and Lybrand.
Allen represents both privately-held and public entities. He has considerable experience in all phases of public accounting including audit, review, and agreed-upon procedures. He has experience with SEC clients regarding annual filings and other filings as necessary for his client base. Allen has supervised audits performed under Government Auditing Standards, including compliance for A-133 and HUD, and the related preparation of tax returns. He often makes presentations to the clients' audit committee or Board of Directors. He has assisted clients with merger and acquisition, impairment and other accounting issues. Allen is a member of the firm's Accounting and Auditing Committee that monitors current developments in our profession and implements firm policies on these topics.
Allen is a 1982 graduate of Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana University in 1986. Allen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is the former chairman of the Technical Forum Committee of the Cleveland Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPAs. Allen is on the Program Committee of the Community Mental Health and Alcohol/Drug Addiction Services Financial Management Group.
