Chris Mead CPA
Chris Mead joined Maloney + Novotny LLC in 1978 and is a Shareholder in the Elyria office. He has more than 30 years of experience as an accountant and business advisor.
Chris works closely with business owners, advising them on many critical aspects of their companies. His clients include a variety of industries. He has an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing, construction and real estate industries. Chris advises clients on a wide range of accounting and tax issues including profit enhancement, strategic planning and succession planning. In addition Chris has expertise in working with clients on issues related to cash management, bank financing and business evaluations. Chris also handles individual and business taxes.
A 1978 graduate of Miami University, Chris became a CPA in 1980. Chris is a volunteer in a variety of civic and professional organizations. He currently serves on the boards of Comprehensive Health Care of Ohio, Inc., where he chairs the finance committee, and the Elyria Memorial Hospital Foundation. He is also a member of the finance committees for Leadership Lorain County and the North Coast Building Industries Association. Chris is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
