Chris joined Maloney + Novotny LLC in 1996 and was elected shareholder in 2009. He has spent his career servicing primarily the firm's Commercial and Industrial Groups clients including benefit plans. Chris' breadth of clients includes manufacturing companies, distributors and service organizations. He has extensive experience with a wide spectrum of accounting services including audits, reviews, compilations, and financial projections in addition to corporate and individual taxation. Chris also serves as the chairperson of the firm’s Commercial & Industrial Group.

Chris develops very close relationships with the clients he works with. He is consistently relied on and looked upon as a valued business advisor. He is actively involved in all aspects of his clients’ business including generating, transferring/preserving and safeguarding wealth, including but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements, estate planning, and corporate and individual tax planning issues.

A 1996 graduate of John Carroll University, Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In 2010, Chris was selected as one of Crain’s Cleveland Business’ “Forty Under Forty.”  In addition, Chris was nominated and accepted to Cambridge Who’s Who, being recognized for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his field.  Chris was also awarded the top honor by Cambridge Who’s Who as he has been named the Professional of the Year in Business Accounting for 2009-2010.
